Miriam Kulmer

From the very first song in the studio, Miriam managed to move the entire band to tears with her voice alone with its deeply felt lightness and casual swinging profundity seem to come from another planet; and it probably bears her name.

Markus Pechmann

Back in 2007, Thomas Gansch said: if you’re looking for a really killer trumpet player, call Pechi. Who? Markus Pechmann. Luckily, Christof calls Markus and falls in love at first tone. And Anton too, by the way. Only the chosen few have this much feeling.

Anton Sauprügl

Elder statesman of Global Kryner since 2003. If Global Kryner were a republic, he would probably be the president. Through him, with him and in him arise the most beautiful moments in the band. Toni is classic triple A: incredible accordionist, polished arranger and humble go-getter.

Christof Spörk

Actually a cabaret artist. But probably only because that also starts with C, like clarinet. Curiously, for the founder of Global Kryner, the sounds of the Global Kryner sound still work like a mood-enhancing drug that makes his corazón (heart) dance salsa.

Andreas Haidecker

He is the new global guitarrero. Love at first sight once again! A grounded jazz player who also masters the new Viennese song and pretty much everything in between. As brilliantly as he can accompany and sing relaxed lyrics (with “Andymen”), he swings the Framus guitar to Kryner music just as masterfully.

Martin Temmel

Joined the band in 2008 like Pechi and, with his Upper Styrian straightforwardness and deeply felt musicality, blew Global Kryner all the way to Mexico City. He only puts down his trombone when he has to feed his catfish. If Global Kryner were a monarchy, he would be the “Prince of Wels”.
