2nd Love Tour 2026
When Global Kryner presented their first CD in 2004, the music world was turned upside down. It was love at first sight. The idea was as simple as it was brilliant: take the legendary Oberkrainer sound (Alpine brass folk style) of Slavko Avsenik, merge it with world hits, add a pinch of jazz and plenty of musical wit, and the recipe is complete. The Süddeutsche Zeitung was ecstatic and even spoke of a “jack-of-all-trades” when it comes to music. And with “verkrynern” (to krynerize), a new verb was created on top of that.
What followed was a ride through all radio and TV formats rarely seen before. Hundreds of concerts in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux, France, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Ukraine and all the way to Mexico. After hot and quite demanding years of touring life, the band bid farewell to the stage in 2013.

But the love never died. On the contrary. Now comes: Global Kryner “2nd Love”!

Already in summer 2024, Global Kryner, led by music cabaret artist and clarinetist Christof Spörk and Oberkrainer accordion veteran Anton Sauprügl, decided to make a fresh start. Trombonist and neo-fish farmer Martin Temmel didn’t need to be asked twice. Markus Pechmann, now one of the country’s most sought-after jazz trumpeters, brought in singer Miriam Kulmer, a veritable vocal marvel. Also newly joining the band is “Mister Groove,” jazz guitarist and songwriter Andreas Haidecker.
But beware: there will be no rehashing of old hits. The band is meticulously preparing for its comeback. New typical “krynerizations” must be included, yes, of course! But this time there will also be originally composed songs to hear. One can be excited.
Everything prepared with much love, just not for the first time, but rather “2nd Love”!

Andreas Haidecker
He is the new global guitarrero. Love at first sight once again! A grounded jazz player who also masters the new Viennese song and pretty much everything in between. As brilliantly as he can accompany and sing relaxed lyrics (with “Andymen”), he swings the Framus guitar to Kryner music just as masterfully.

Martin Temmel
Joined the band in 2008 like Pechi and, with his Upper Styrian straightforwardness and deeply felt musicality, blew Global Kryner all the way to Mexico City. He only puts down his trombone when he has to feed his catfish. If Global Kryner were a monarchy, he would be the “Prince of Wels”.
